Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Sufian Qudah announced on Tuesday, October 2, 2019, that the two Jordanian citizens detained in Libya several months ago have been released.
Ala'a Jamal Mahmoud Abu Rujai and his brother Marwan Jamal Mahmoud Abu Rujai were expected to arrive at Queen Alia International Airport at 1:30 pm.
Qudah noted that the citizens were released following intensive efforts made by the Ministry and the concerned security services since the moment the citizens were detained.
Qudah wished the citizens a safe return.
